Narrow ruffle trim with raw, scalloped edges, hand-cut on a mid-19th-century antique trim cutter. These ruffles line the jacket's button placket, hem and cuffs.
Front button closure with fabric-covered buttons.
The fabric is a tightly woven cotton with a typewriter finish, creating a paper-like hand feel.
